Trip to World's First Fair Trade Town Confirmed

The FTIS organisers are very pleased to confirm that on the day following the symposium (5th April), there will be an optional trip to the World First Fair Trade Town in Garstang, with a visit to the FIG Tree, Fair Trade visitors centre. The outing will include a talk from Fair Trade Towns pioneer, Bruce Crowther.

Transport will be provided leaving from Liverpool around 10am. The coach will then return to Liverpool via Preston railway station, in the mid afternoon. The cost of the day will be £10-15 depending on numbers + any additional costs including lunch etc.
